Kris is, in a word, a bitch. She's cunning, manipulative, and temperamentally vindictive; overall one of those types of people who enjoy controlling the lives of everyone around them. All of her social acquaintances are purely disposable and are only used for what they can offer Karissa. Once she no longer finds someone entertaining or purposeful she cuts them out of her exclusive coveted world. Truthfully, she's a very difficult person to love, but once you manage to get on her level and she accepts you, then you will never regret giving her your heart. She may be quite negative to outsiders, but when it comes to the few important people in her life she consistently gives them her best. Despite her poor origins, Karissa has become quite cultured since she always seeks new and challenging experiences; thus she is a woman of many talents, kinks, and quirks. Not only will she make you the best meal you've ever had, but she'll also do a tarot reading for you.

Life with her is an adventure and as unpredictable as her moods. One second she adores you more than anyone else on earth and the next she's plotting your funeral. Passion is what fuels the fire within her heart and it is also what steers her around quite recklessly; making her very black and white in character. She can be sweet or she can be sarcastic. She can be cruel or she can be charismatic. She can be lecherous or loyal. It all depends on what card you've pulled that morning. For some people her severe ying and yang approach to life can be frustrating or even dizzying, but at least it's never dull or boring.

Born and raised in Switchblade but also well traveled, Karissa is likely to have a variety of contacts, acquaintences, and 'friends' from every walk of life. However, only those on her level financially speaking are allowed into her private circle. Her bestie is Bella Hartsen, but she could use another close girlfriend or two. I'm open for any suggestions or ideas in this department. Let's brainstorm.

Though she is married, Karissa isn't essentially faithful; she loves her husband, but won't commit when he refuses to. Naturally, she keeps all of her affairs on the hush as she doesn't want to compromise her place with Luke (until she finishes school). Because of her history as a 'companion' for the rich and influential she's likely to have plenty of past flings or relationships in this category. And as for future flings, affairs, fwb.. well, she's up for it all.
