hello, everyone. i'd like a nice welcome for miss falan karma, though, nice is a bit of a term that requires interpretation. she's a bit of a wreck, honestly. of course, it takes a lot for you to realize that. if you manage to reach that point, you'll find that she is very emotional and tends to fall apart by the slightest triggers, but these feelings are hidden from most of the people she knows. she's quite the little actress, this little private investigator. she likes to play the roles that she knows will help her out, and she can toy with your mind. she may be female, but don't think of her as weak. determined, falan is always searching for answers and closure - especially for her past. her family minus her mother moved to the united states when she was young, and she had a series of incidents that resulted in four-year abuse by people who were sharing their apartment flat. eventually, her older brother caught them in the act and the family moved out. due to this, falan has a very strong aversion to being touched. she also can't stand the thought of being unclean, and often is seen washing her hands, using hand sanitizer, and other things of that nature. though the therapy stopped a while ago, she still can come across as a very cold, bitter person. she is perfectly content to be known as a bitch, and will not hesitate to insult or use sarcasm against you in most cases. of course, being such a lovely little investigator, she tends to be able to keep a lid on things when she knows the situation is not good. she was an officer for a few years before her partner, an undercover cop, was discovered and killed. it was then that she left for switchblade and began her own work.

to be honest, the easiest path for all of you is to become her enemy. she isn't exactly welcoming or friendly, and she can easily rub people in the wrong direction by being brutally honest or uncooperative. falan can appear almost bipolar, moving quickly between personality traits. of course, she also may be playing the role of innocent or bubbly in order to try and figure something out and hear a testimony. friends are somewhere in the middle for falan. some may appreciate her shyness and honesty, or simply be amused by her tone. she can be a good ally for those that actually try. the hardest out of the three major categories is love. since falan hates to be touched, moving too quickly or anything like that could easily infuriate or terrify her. she has difficulties trusting people and opening up to them, yet another roadblock. she had a sort of on-and-off deal with bjorn carson, but they're rather ambiguous as to where they actually stand. or, at least, she is. if you don't really have any ideas, falan has been trying to hunt down her abusers, tracing one of them to switchblade, and could use some help and some people to get in the way.
