-- DESPITE ALL MY RAGE
I AM STILL JUST A RAT IN A CAGE![/center]
It was late.
She should be working.
The moon was high in the sky and the chill of the wind sent shivers up Bjorn's spine. He wore a coat, heavy, denim, tan. It was long and button up, warm enough to keep himself from freezing outside. His hands were gloved and his scarf thick. Damn... How the hell could she deal with this? He scowled a bit, blowing a leaf away from his coat. The leaf fluttered away in a flurry of brown and green, before falling to the ground and rushed by a car. He watched the leaf in minor interest, the little thing trolling along the wind as it made it across the otherside. He arched a brow, before turning back to the alley.
He was only inches from it.
He took a breath, releasing it before he saw the breath like smoke. He smirked and reached into his coat's breast-pocket, pulling out the pack of Maralboro Ultra Light's and popping a cigarette, placing it to his lips and lighting the end. He watched the flame dance in the breeze, making an attempt to do his best at keeping the flame going. He growled a bit, parting his lips in a bit of a snarl as he finally managed to light the thing.
Bjorn took a long, much needed drag and kept the toxic smoke in his lungs for a moment before finally allowing its escape, the smoke billowing from his parted lips and into the sky before disappearing, never to be seen again. He took another drag, his patience wearing thin with the girl.
Where was she?
He had been standing outside by his car for a while now, his silver Nissan gazed upon by fellow passersby as they walked past him, his scowl following them. His car was as precious to him as a newborn baby was to their parents. He had never dented it, never scratched. Bjorn was gentle to his vehicle. Without it, how else would he get places? He shifted again, his snkle soon crossing the other as he continued leaning against his vehicle.
He told her he would pick her up, take her to a restraunt. He needed the coffee. He wanted a bit of caffine after a long days work. Having to deal with Pax was horrible enough as it was, let alone deal with the boss. He rolled his eyes at the thought, taking another drag of his cigarette. Without his notice, the thing had been shrinking and the ashes growing. He arched a brow and flicked away the ashes.
He was growing very impatient.
He shook his head, tossing the cigarette on the ground and stepped on it, crushing it beneath his Italian leather shoe and moved inside the alley. The way it looked was a bit threatening. Too many girls, young or old, lined the alley walls. They were skimpily dressed and looked freezing. Many held cigarettes or beer, sharing or being selfish. Some watched him walk by in their fullest attention, trying their best to woo him. He scrunched his nose, walking along the middle.
A blonde head caught his attention before shouting out her name. She seemed to have heard him as she stood to walk up to him. He looked at her, turning to his car.
"I really suggest you hurry up and finish whatever it was you were doing. I want to keep my car."
