---------- •••-- “Alright Miss, we really do need to get going. You have a meeting in an hour and you must leave to get ready. The car is just outside the front door.” Said on of the few bodyguards that were in the small tattoo shop with Lilika. Frowning she glanced back at him over her shoulder before sighing. Right now she was thinking of getting a tattoo, it wasn’t like it was a bad thing most stars had them now adays. Only she was having a problem with picking something that would really mean something to her. She had been talking with a tattoo artist for about fifteen minutes now and still was lost. She had spotted this little place on her way to the recording studio. Her day hadn’t been over booked so she thought of stepping in and having a look around. Only one thing led to another and the tattoo artist just happen to be a big fan of her. Fans always talked way too much, but at last this one kept on topic about the tattoo after five minutes.
Looking back towards the woman she gave her a smile to only have on quickly returned. “Looks like I’ve got to go. Thanks so much for your help.” Lilika said her cheery soft voice carrying around the whole room. Only she could still hear the crowd of people outside the shop. She couldn’t help but glance over her shoulder again to see some cars pulling up and she knew the paparazzi had found her. Looking away from the windows of the shot she pushed her hair behind one ear. “Thanks for close the shop too, makes things a little easier for both you and my guards.” The woman smiled and said it was no problem and that she could come back anytime. Just from the short time with the woman she knew that this woman would be talking about this forever and would die to do her tattoo.
“Well thanks again and nice meeting you.” Lilika said again letting her hand go out to shake the woman’s hand who’s name she had already forgotten before turning to leave. Her guards waited for the woman to unlock the door and soon had a fight with the crowd that was trying to get in, the paparazzi fighting with her fans to get in and get a good picture. The fact that Lilika the angel like singer who was on a rebel against her family and boss was in a tattoo shop. They would think she already had gotten one but she was just looking. Lilika was getting herself ready for the millions of screams, questions and flashing lights. She felt bad for her guards today, there was only three of them with her right now. Looking up at the closes one she spoke. “I’ll make sure you guys get some extra today.” She said with a small smile. She and her guards didn’t seem to get along very well, there was only one or two who treated her like a real human.
Moving out into the afternoon light, Lilika pushed her sunglasses down to cover her eyes and kept a sweet smile on her lips as she waved at the crowd well trying to keep hidden enough from the paparazzi. She could hear the questions all being shouted at once. Most of them mixed together with the screams of the crowd. Every step she could catch different things. “We love you!” “What is with the sudden-“ “Lilika Rain!” “Can you tell me-“ And it went on and on. She had learned to ignore most of it but this time around she just couldn’t push out all the voices.

SO WHAT IF YOU CAN SEE, THE DARKEST SIDE OF ME? NO ONE WILL EVER CHANGE THIS ANIMAL I HAVE BECOME help me believe, it's not the real me; somebody help me tame this animal! • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • Having talent did not mean getting to act like a fucking idiot in front of the paparazzi. This morning’s gossip had already found its way onto Ben’s desk in the form of the front page news. Already Ben had put up with Lilika’s antics for far too long. Yes, he understood the whole ‘teenage rebellion’ concept. He had gone through it himself. At one point or another, everybody felt the need to rebel against their parents or guardians but Lilika, had taken her rebellion past the point of annoying. It was just plain pissing him off now. She was one of the biggest stars signed to Talent Records at the moment but that didn’t mean Ben wouldn’t end their contract now. At first, he had been fine with the publicity but now, it was no longer good publicity. She represented the company and now Ben needed to put an end to this.
When Ben got the newspaper placed on his desk, he nearly knocked over his coffee when he stood up in his rage. Ben practically kicked down his door as he walked out of his office. “WHAT THE HELL IS THIS?” he roared, throwing the newspaper onto the nearest desk. He was ready to tear someones head off. “Somebody get Lilika Davis’ manager on the phone, right now! I want to know where the hell she is. GET HER IN THIS DAMN OFFICE NOW.” If he wasn’t so furious, the way that everyone scattered to find a phone. After a few minutes of pacing, Ben’s secretary handed him the phone and after a quick, forced thank you, Ben took the phone. He didn’t care about the manager on the other end. “Where is she? Why? I want to know dammit! Don’t tell me you don’t know. That’s your fucking job! YES, I want you to find her.”
There was silence on the other end as the manager hung up, supposedly looking for where Lilika was. Another few minutes passed before the phone rang again and this time, Ben grabbed the phone before his secretary could. “Tattoo parlor? Keep better tabs on your best paying client next time.” Ben handed the phone back to his secretary and grabbed his jacket. “Cancel my meetings for the day, I’ve got to deal with something.” He stormed to his car and Ben quickly drove out of the parking lot. There was a little speeding involved but Ben was lucky enough not to encounter any law enforcement. The flashing lights and crowd of paparazzi immediately gave away where Lilika was.
Ben slammed on the brakes and threw the car in park. He angrily jerked his keys out of the ignition. Somehow he made his way through the crowd of paparazzi and found himself next to Lilika. At first it seemed like her guards were ready to throw him back but an angry glare and his easily recognizable face stayed them. “Get in the car now Lilika. We have to talk.”

---------- •••-- Lilika was surely blocked in today. Man there were so many of them so she let the guards close in around her. She gave up on being nice and kind trying to please everyone. She may be a good person most of the time but she couldn’t please everyone all the time. So now she just need to get moving. They were not very far from the car when she heard his voice. He was standing behind her, her whole body froze at first before she tried to play it cool. She knew the reason already why Ben was here. He was going to treat her like a child. Smiling bright she turned to him and played stupid. “About what? I’m sure you can remember yourself that I have to go to a meeting now.”
As she spoke she said it softly and sweetly she was trying to get out of this. She knew if she cried Ben wouldn’t care, that is how she got out of trouble with her father. He was a sucker for tears, but Ben? Most likely not. “What car would you like sir?” The guard asked as a photography almost jumped on them to get a shot. At this point Lilika knew this was getting a little much for the guards to handle as much as she knew that she was safer out in the open she knew her guards couldn’t take much more.
Still she could hear all the questions being shot out at the two. God why was he so stupid to do this now?! There were so many different types of headlines popping into her mind. “No I’d rather talk here.” She said to the guard placing her hands on her hips and planting her feet like a child. As nice and kind Lilika was, she acted very childlike at times. She was used to being told what to do, so rebel child was coming out of her at the wrong time. She could tell that Ben was pissed just by the look on his face and she know knew who had slammed on their barks early. Only she wasn’t about to let him win, so she scowled back at him not backing down at all.

SO WHAT IF YOU CAN SEE, THE DARKEST SIDE OF ME? NO ONE WILL EVER CHANGE THIS ANIMAL I HAVE BECOME help me believe, it's not the real me; somebody help me tame this animal! • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • Every single day he had to deal with musicians but Lilika was one of the worst. Ben was in no mood to deal with Lilika Davis' clear disrespect. His jaw clenched when she attempted to play dumb. This was not the time to act like this. He knew she was doing this only because the cameras were around. It was all an act for the paparazzi that surrounded him. Ben was trying very hard not to get angry but it was becoming more difficult by the second. "Don't play stupid. You don't ever go to meetings. Now get in the car," he nodded to the guard and pointed to the car that was already parked by the curb. He could always come back and get his own car later.
He was getting really tired of this. And to think, Ben was coming to give her one last chance. She was a good singer but not that good. The flashes were still going off as Ben stared her down. This was one battle she was not going to win. God, tomorrow's headlines were going to suck. He was trying to control himself from not hitting her. That would go over so well. The guard opened the door and Ben grabbed the top of the door. He gripped the door tightly, holding it open. "I'm not joking. Get in the fucking car," he growled and nodded his head towards the open car door. "You want people to quit treating you like a child? Quit acting like one and grow the fuck up."
If he had a choice, Ben wouldn't have done this here but she was the one making it more difficult that it was supposed to be. And now Ben would appear to the paparazzi as a bad guy. Great, more bad publicity, exactly what he needed. Ben sighed in frustration and ran a hand through his hair. "Fine, you want to do this here?" This was the last straw. "You do realize this is a job? Typically when you when you don't do your job, you get fired. So consider this a formality. Talent Studio is terminating our contract with you. Good luck on your future endeavors Miss Lilika Rain," Ben sneered and slammed the door shut. Sure, he realized that she brought in a ton of income for the studio but so did other artists and out of all those other ones, none of them were making idiots out of themselves. It seemed that Lilika didn't seem to realize she was signed with one of the biggest studios out there. He would like to see her try and even find someone else who would sign her again. Hell, she was lucky Ben hadn't put a hit out on her.
"Take her home. I'll be talking to her lawyers in the morning."

---------- •••-- This. Man. Was. So. Annoying. Now he had pushed Lilika in a way with his words that really pissed her off. She turned sharply towards him her ‘not impressed’ face showing as she glared down her boss. He may be the owner of recording her music, but he did not control her life. She could do whatever she flippin’ wanted to. “Excuse me! I got to all my meetings thank you very much.” She said at first before stepping towards him her finger pointing right into his chest. “Just not yours! I know your just going to bitch me out for acting human for once!” She said at first calmly but lost her cool half way through and yelled at him. Huffing in frustration she glared at him and crossed her arms over her chest. She was not a happy person right now. If he wanted to ‘deal’ with her he should have done so more calmly.
She was after all not doing a think wrong. She did her job just fine, she just started to go partying. Is there really something wrong there? It’s not as if she’s sleeping around and doing drugs like a lot of his other ‘employees’. Time passed and they just stared at each other, before Ben finally spoke and he pushed it. He said something he really shouldn’t have. A look of surprise crossed her face, a look of hurt covered it just for a moment before she curled her hands into small tiny fist. He knew that was why she was trying to change, she was just trying to show everyone that she wasn’t a child anymore. She wanted to be her age, not the little sweet girl anymore.
“You’re a fucking asshole! I hope you know that!” She screamed at him before two of her guards grabbed her on each side. “Let me go!” She screamed before trying to push out of their arms but their grips just tightened. At this point Lilika wasn’t thinking about the people around her, or anything else in the world. She was tired of being controlled, she didn’t like this not at all. “Let me go!” She shrilled tears finally turning down her cheeks –taking her make-up along for the ride.
They moved her closer and closer to the car, she struggled more and more, her screams bring more of a crowd. This wasn’t right and everyone else in the world would know that. It wouldn’t look back on her part but his. She could see the headlines now. ‘Abusive manger? Relationship gone bad? Bad guy. . . .’ and so many more. The people here were most likely feeding off this like it was the best thing they’d have all year. Nothing would beat this. Only just as they were about to push her into the car, he spoke t he guards froze as she pushed out of one their arms only to freeze too. Her eyes wide her make-up in thick lines down her wet face.
The question roared out like a wave and the guards acted quickly. This time Lilika was in shock, she didn’t fight as they pushed her into the car, she could only stare blankly out. “Sir I’m sorry but you’re going to need to get in the car.” Said one of her guards before getting Ben in the car and they were off. For a long time she couldn’t say anything as the tears still ran down her face.
“Fi-fired?” She was finally able to ask after about five minutes. Slowly she looked at Ben still almost too shocked for words. “Why?” She whispered before breaking down even more her hands covering her face as she sat on the floor her body curling up as she sobbed. No one said anything, her guards were most likely as shocked as she was. Slowly she sat up rubbing at her eyes trying to get control of herself. “Why?” She said again not so quiet really looking at Ben as a human and not some controlling monster. “What did I do to make this happen. I’m not on drugs, I’m not a totally drunk, I do my job and I’m still a . . . still a virgin! I haven’t do anything to devise this! Is it so wrong for me to act human for once? Is it so fucking wrong that I do something fun for once. Is it so fucking bad that I try something!” She said starting off calm hurt and turning into anger and frustration. She was so confused and hurt and lose. She didn’t understand how this could happen to her.
