When he grinned at her blush, Katelyn was doing her damnedest to stop another one from creeping up. What the hell, she wasn't used to being all blushy! She glared at him when he chuckled at her, since apparently he found it funny. It wasn't funny! She was used to being this well guarded FBI agent, not some teenage girl. So she huffed slightly, before grinning and leaved on her elbows. Now to mess with him.
She merely grinned when he hesitated and how he had a friend helping him quickly. Almost too quickly. She merely chuckled and smiled more when he looked away. "Your lying." She said before smiling at him, seeing how he was acting like a kid again. It was actually kind of cute really. Not that she would tell him right now though. She got up as well and said goodbye to the other waitress before following Kaden outside.
As she tried to think of what he had to do for him to be able to flirt with her, she merely giggled slightly before smiling at him. "Oh really? And what are you going to come up with?" She said sticking her own tongue back at him when he stuck his out, showing she could act childish too. But apparently he beat her when he pulled the keys away. Another glare was shot at him.
She couldn't help but to grin when he laughed and merely nodded when he said he would open the door for her. When he asked how that was, she chuckled and smiled more. "A little cliche, but sweet none the less." Once she sat down in the car she watched as he walked to the driver's side, only to hear him ask where to. Now that she honestly didn't know. "Um..I have no clue..I was expecting to just go home, but now that changed, I don't know where to go." She admitted only to roll her eyes playfully at what he said. "I know you can Kaden." She said grinning, knowing his job paid him well, even if she didn't like it. tagged: Kaden Word Count: 432 outfit: coming soon! lyrics: Savin Me - Nickelback notes: lSo Short!

Xx-- Damn she knew he was, well hell he knew he was. It was a lame try at a lie, to slow and then to fast. Sloppy of him but whatever, he just grinned at her with a small wink. She would never know now would she. After all he wasn’t about to tell her anything else. As much as she would try and get it out of him, he has zipped his lips closed on this matter at least. After all they were leaving now, since the café was closing and well if he wanted to get a movie and dinner in it was really a tight fit. So with their goodbyes to the other waitress they were on their way to what Kaden would like to think as a first date. What she thought of this could be very different but that didn’t matter to him.
Their walk towards the car was short but they talked the whole way there. The point where she asked him what he was doing to do, they were almost at the car. Smirking at her playfully, he spoke. “Oh, I have my ways. My idea is, if I can make you blush once without making a hitting on comment, then I can say whatever. How does that sound?” He was smirking the whole time, he knew this would be easy, just by his small test earlier. The fact was he already knew her weakness and using it against her. With that they were at the car and getting ready to leave her work behind and let the date really begin. Only he wouldn’t be getting around her as easily. Even if he’s already seen everything about her.
As she called his door opening lame his eyebrows pushed together and he frowned. “Now, now that may have hurt my feelings.” And with that she was in so he closed the door and made his way around. Getting in the car was quick and he only stopped himself from leaving with nowhere to go at the thought of where they would be going. No reason o waste gas now. As she spoke he smiled and started the car. “Well then I’ll raid your kitchen and make something, or you think of a place to go before we get to the first light.” He grinned at her, before getting ready to pull out. He had a plan and he rather liked it. Hopefully she was enjoying this nice little surprise as much as he was.
As he got back out into the slightly busy street, he glanced over at Katelyn getting another idea. “Better hold on and think fast.” And with that he floored the gas pedal and started to race down the street towards the street lights and the cars that were stopped because of the red light. He knew what he was doing, since he had been in one or two car chases before, and in fact he knew how to get out of the way at the last minute. The fact was the light would be green at the last minute and he would just slip right through the cars to take a sharp left turn.

When he merely stayed quiet, Katelyn couldn't help but to smile more as she kept her chin in her hands. Now he just wasn't answering her, but basically the silence was telling her the truth. He had been stalking her. Again, she found it rather interesting he was so intent on trying to find her. It was kind of cute really. But like him, she said nothing as they got up to leave before saying bye to the other waitress.
She merely smiled at the fact they were obviously having fun talking already and blinked when he smirked at her. However, her confused expression turned into shock as her eyes widened at his idea of how he could flirt. Really!? He was just playing around earlier and she flushed. "Wait what?! No that's not good, I'll think up one.." She said, trying to weasel her way out of it, but she doubt that he would be ok with it. She was trying to get out of it, because it would be a sure-win for him. What fun was that if he knew he was going to win?
Again, a smile broke out across her face when he frowned at her comment. "It was a joke Kaden, thank you." She said to him before he closed the door, got in the car and started the car. "Alright then that sounds fine, unless you'd rather go to a restaurant." She said, not really good at making decisions where to go. After buckling up, she blinked at Kaden telling her to suddenly hold on, which made her look at him in confusion. "Why-" Suddenly he was stomping on the gas.
A gasp escaped her as he did this, which only earned him a glare. "What are you doing?!" However, when she saw the light coming up, her heart dropped slightly before he suddenly took a sharp turn and continued driving. Without thinking, she turned and smacked his shoulder and glared more. "I'd rather not go back to the hospital thank you!" She said, not exactly enjoying him wanting to play 'race the other cars'. A large sigh escaped her as she crossed her arms and leaned back into the passenger seat before telling him the directions to her home. She just hoped he wouldn't pull a stunt like that again. tagged: Kaden Word Count: 470 outfit: coming soon! lyrics: Savin Me - Nickelback notes: <33

Xx-- With his comment about her blushing, a cool wind blow by but that didn’t hide the blush that came over her cheeks! He smirked like the cocky ass he was and pulled her closer to her letting his hand quickly unlink with her’s and wrap around her waist. She was stuttering to get out of it, which mean she blushed really easily. He had remember how red her face had been last time when he almost broke down his bathroom door trying to save her. . . When she had only slipped and fell. “Nope, too late, I’ve already won, but if you don’t blush once more tonight, I’ll let you pick what happens to let me joke around with you like all the other assholes that only wanna sleep with you.“ he paused and his eyes went wide as he thought of how bad that sounded. “Ah, shit I-I didn’t mean it like that! Mother of damn it all.” He said rather quickly trying to save his ass. The truth was he didn’t want to sleep with her, as nice as it would be, the truth for finding her besides the whole cell phone thing, he just wanted to hang with her. She seemed like a pretty cool chick.
By then they had gotten to his car and he was opening the door and pouting at her for being hurt about his joke. Only when she got all serious on him he laughed softly before bring his hand up to his head to run his finger through his hair only to stop as his fingertips touched his hairline. He couldn’t do that! It hurt, well at least he remembered this time. So closed the door as he said. “I know.” He made his way around to the other side and got in. After a little chat he had started the car and pulled out. Kaden being a bit of an asshole and a joker, he had no worries and wanted to play a trick on Katelyn.
“I think I can cook up something that wont be too bad, or burned.” He said only pausing shortly between or and burned. Only that was went he pressed the pettel of his gas down to the floor and started to pick up speed fast. Sure it was killing his gas, but hopefully it wouldn’t kill too much of it. He did like the earth but he didn’t need to worry about how much gas coast. He just didn’t’ like to waste stuff. But over all he got what he wanted, the reaction of her freaking out, and with ease he turned the corner only leaving a few people honking at him and even a finger from an old lady on the side of the road with her fluffy thing of doom beside her.
Only as he was back to normal speed he grinned like a small child who had just seen boobs for the first time in his life. Glancing over at her, well one hand dropped from the wheel to rest on the car door, he was hit. “Ow!” he said but it was more out of surprise then anything, but that only made his grin grow. If he was a cartoon it would be ear to ear, all shinny white teeth. Only she was just frustrated that he was winning at playing around with her. “Awe don’t be like that, you enjoyed the drive there last time, and well you got the story of your life.” he after all had been attacked my nurses strapped to a bed and put under in a matter of maybe two or three minutes. The worst minutes of his life, even worst then the time he was swimming in the pool at his home and his mom popped out of her top. Now that had been nasty and horrifying to the young eight year old boy.
“But anyways, I can drive around town trying to find your place, or you could tell me and we’ll get to eat sooner rather then later.” And with that he stopped at the red light looking at her as his fingers tapped along the rim of the wheel. Kaden was easy going, but he was also smart about what he did. It may have not looked like he was watching the area around him, but in fact he was. It was something that came in the training of becoming that hardcore detective job that didn’t last for even five years. The cars behind Katelyn started to slow and soon stopped and in the corner of his eye he saw the colour change from red to green so he started to slowly build up speed and look back to the road. “What do you like to eat anyways?”

Trying her best to cover the blush, Katelyn looked away slightly and brushed her bangs from her face, kind of wishing her hair wasn't up in a ponytail. When she blushed, she could usually hide it by lowering her head and her hair would block it. However, the small flush worsened when he snaked a arm around her waist, which got him a small glare at him saying that he already won. "That's not fair!!" She said crossing her arms and forced the stupid blush away, before she blinked at what he said. "Wait wha-" Kaden then quickly tried to explain, which got a small chuckle out of her. "It's ok Kaden, I know you wouldn't do that." She said grinning at him. If he did, he would have a bullet in him, but she really felt like he wouldn't ever do something like that. For the first time in a very long time, she felt like she could honestly trust someone.
When she sat in his car, she opened her mouth to gripe at him for nearly touching his hair, but luckily he realized and stopped. She glared at him when he said he knew and merely buckled the seatbelt around her before he spoke of how he could cook up something that wouldn't be burnt...and then he suddenly decided to stomp on the gas. This sort of made her freak a little, which resulted in her hitting. "That's not funny! What if we got in a accident and you winded up getting hurt more?!" She said sighing heavily before he merely grinned at her. "Do it again, and I'll call your favorite nurse to take personal care of you at your fights." She said grinning at him, hinting at the male nurse that was wearing makeup, remembering how the nurse sort of freaked Kaden out.
Another sigh escaped her as she put a hand to her chest, trying to calm her racing heart down, until he spoke of how he could drive around to find her home, or she could tell him. "Oh right sorry." She said before she told him the directions to her home as she leaned back in the seat, finally calming down. As he looked around, her eyes closed slightly, obviously somewhat relaxed. The past week was too much drama for her. After she left Kaden's house, she lied about going to work. She had to track the escaped gang member who had luckily was dumb enough to go back to his normal life. The gang member was now in custody of Lawley, which made her relax a bit. With him out, she was making sure all her doors were locked along with windows. Who said she was paranoid?
Her eyes opened at his question and looked over at him. "What? Oh, I'm not picky." She said laughing slightly. "Sorry, I'm kinda indecisive." She admitted sort of embarrassed as she scratched the back of her head. tagged: Kaden Word Count: 587 outfit: coming soon! lyrics: Savin Me - Nickelback notes: Sowwie for the wait!

Xx-- Chuckling to himself as she pouted like the child he was about not getting her way. “Awe are we being a poor sport now?” He said with a grin his other hand that was still free coming up to wiggle his finger as he made a tisking sound. Kaden was just playing with Katelyn it was what he did, it was fun and all around easy-going. He like it not just because of the reactions he gets but it lightens up the mood of two people and makes them come to become friends faster. Kaden liked friends nothing could go wrong with that, well that wasn’t really true being a friend with an FBI agent wasn’t a very good idea but he was for some reason willing to give it a try. It could be because of her helping him out after they got out of the car chase rather than trying to charge him for something.
By then the two were in the car and almost ready to go, turning it on, he peeked a glance at Katelyn before pulling out on his parking space and flooring the gas to play a little trick on her. Well he did get an amazing reaction from her, but it ended with him getting hit and her slightly angry at him. But he just grinned like a little boy. Only when she spoke about the nurses his eyes got wide and his face paled. At first he just though it was that really mean old woman nurse but then his mind came to the part where the male nurse came in “Oh god no. Y-You wouldn’t!” He almost squeaked like a boy who was going through puberty.
Kaden turned off the main roads and into some neibourhood like area but he was glancing over at Katelyn and only slightly paying attention to the road. He thought about if she could really pull it off, his fingers drummed along the rim of the wheel. She was FBI but still they would have to do a lot of looking to find him again, but he knew if she really wanted to find him she could. He narrowed his eyes over at Katelyn. “I don’t need to be taken care of anyways.” Said before straightening a little. “Besides there would be no way in hell he would make it pass the front door.” And with that he smirked a little holding back the urge to stick this tongue out at her.
That was finally when she told him where to go, they had been going the wrong way, so turning down another street that just happened to be a dead end he did a three point turn and started on the way to her house. It was about five maybe ten minute drive from where they were, but that’s if you drive the speed limit. Kaden tended to drive twenty over if he could get away with it. At least he could try and distract her with conversation so she wouldn’t get him in trouble with speeding.
First distraction topic dinner. Smiling he glanced over at her for a moment before looking back. “Well, what do you like to eat? Unless you don’t like that either? Do you have cook books? What food do you have a home. I can come up with something if you just give me some small details.” He said with a wink only slightly turning to her so she could see it was a wink but he didn’t look at her as he did it. They had come to a stop sign and he was trying to look both ways and wink at the same time. Kind of a hard thing to do when you’re trying to look away from the person beside you.
“So what’s your place like? Is it a house? Or a super cool yet lame apartment like mine?” he said with another grin as they started moving along with traffic again. “any crazy or evil dogs or cats I should know about before entering?” He said in a teasing tone. None of his questions were to personal, but it was a start on really getting to know her. After all that was the point to all of this, becoming friends with her. For right now for the right reasons, if anyone found out about her and him then he would lie to them and say he was getting info on the cops. Easy as pie, but a shit load of trouble to deal with later if it all comes crashing down.

Katelyn couldn't help but to glare at him when he continued, calling her a poor sport before waving his finger at her, even tisking. "I am not being a poor sport, you just caught me off guard." She said, almost defensively. Ok, she was being a poor sport, but she wouldn't admit that to him. It catch her off guard and she wasn't technically ready. Or well that's what she was telling herself. He was just being mean. All during this, she wondered if it was really smart to be hanging out with a gang member, none the less act like friends towards him. But then again, she didn't have much of a choice since he had kidnapped her phone.
Once in his car, she was literally patting herself on the back for buckling herself in since he decided to floor it. Her hand reached up and grabbed the handle that her family had renamed the 'oh shit' handle. At first she thought it was funny, but in all honesty, that was basically what you thought when you used it. After he decided to stop being mean, she hit his arm and glared at him grinning at her. Well that was until she mentioned the nurse. Now it was her turn to grin broadly when he panicked.
As the air between them became suddenly quiet, the smile never left her face as she chuckled. It was pretty clear that he was wondering if she really could do it. When he spoke, it made it clear he was thinking it. Another grin came on her face when he said that the nurse wouldn't make it past the front door. "Hm, I don't know. Possibly with a escort, he could. And I'm not talking about police." She said sticking her tongue out at him childishly.
When he turned from the dead end, she merely did her best to focus on something outside of the car, until he asked what she liked to eat. "Um...anything eatable?" She said sarcastically, only to chuckle at all of the questions. "One at a time Kaden." she said smiling at him before thinking of the questions. "Lets see. I think I do have some cookbooks somewhere." She said, remembering her mom giving her some when she left home. When he tried to wink at her, she playfully rolled her eyes, seeing how much of a fail he just had when he was looking both ways at the stop sign.
Another smile crossed her face when he continued with the questions and leaned back in the chair slightly, obviously comfortable. She didn't know why, but when she was around Kaden, she felt like she could relax. "I have a apartment like yours." she said grinning. "My boss figured getting an apartment would help with me blending in." She said shrugging, until he asked about if she had any pets. "Oh that's right." She said laughing slightly. "I do have one cat named Mathis He's a real sweetheart though." she said smiling before reaching for her phone, only to stop when she realized he still had it. "Well I could show you a picture, but you have my phone so never mind." She said, giving him a small playful glare. If she was lucky, he could give it to her to find the picture of the cat, or she could be unlucky with him pulling it out and finding it himself. tagged: Kaden Word Count: 673 outfit: coming soon! lyrics: Savin Me - Nickelback notes: <333

Xx-- So she was a smartass to, but that didn’t mean she had the upper hand on him. He may have as much skills as she had and because of his gang power he could pull of anything she could try and pull off. They were on even ground, well besides the fact he was a dude and she was well. . . an easily blushing female. So as she tried to make sure that her ‘nurse threat’ was do able, he glared at her playing along as he moved down the streets making his way to her house. “Is that so? You’re going to blow your cover just to get one guy in my bar? Well that’s interesting.” He smirked at her, “I think it would be more enjoyable if you played doctor though.” He said with a wink at her before chuckling under his breath. He had her, she would totally flip or blush and shut up.
Kaden knew not to push his jokes too far with her, but he couldn’t help himself. That joke may get him hit again, but hey it wasn’t like she could really hurt him. Well unless she hit him where the sun don’t shine but then they would totally go into oncoming traffic. Luck for Katelyn though they were moving on to something that would hopefully keep his mind out of the gutter. He may be a guy, but he could hold his tongue if he really wanted to. He just loved the reactions, it made him amused and sometimes more in power. Only with her answer he rolled his eyes. “I would hope so or you’re on your on for dinner.” He paused for a moment and looked both ways. “You really are indecisive right now.” He chuckled softly and knew he was really going to need to use his brain to make something good. It had been a long time since he really cooked something for more than himself.
Grinning over at her catching her eye for a moment before looking back at the road. “Sorry, sorry.” He said marking her as someone slow and unable to keep up. One at a time he would really need to remember that. Turning down another street he glanced at her. “This is the right way right? It should just be on the right two streets down?” He usually knew where everything in this town was, but he didn’t go to this area much, despite it being only fifteen minutes away from his place. She spoke again about the food and he smiled at little, at least he would have some help. Maybe she would even help too. This was going to be more fun then he though.
Looking up at the many large buildings around him only a few houses on the left side of the street he nodded his head at the fact she had an apartment. “Which one was it again?” He asked glancing over at her, his forgetfulness was kicking it. Only this time it wasn’t because he was drunk. He was partly catching pieces of the conversation now as he looked from building to building trying to find the right one. “Do you have an assigned parking spot or-Mathis?” he said glancing up at her one eyebrow cocked up. “What kind of cat name is that?” He asked, he really wondered he would need to see this cat and see if it was a good name or not. If not then it would get a nickname fast. Only that was when she brought up the phone he grinned forgetting he still had it and found the right building.
Turning into the parking lot he said. “Well I’ll see him in a few minutes wont I?” he said before slipping into a parking spot and killing the engine. Sighing he pulled the key out and leaned back to grin at her. “Lead the way Miss Baylor.”

When he spoke of how she would give her cover away, she merely grinned at him. "Nope, I could just go in there and explain how my boyfriend needs someone to look after, since he was a very bad handyman." She said, obviously bringing up Kaden's lie that he said at the hospital. However, when he said that he thought it would be more enjoyable if she played doctor, she gritted her teeth and glared at him. Inside, she was doing her best to fight off the blush and won. Ha ha! See?! She could stop herself from blushing! "Ha ha ha. You wish Kaden." She said glaring at him.
Even though she continuously made it seem like she didn't like his constant flirting or jokes, inside she actually liked them. Basically she would be a idiot if she didn't like them or Kaden, since he was cute after all. But when she realized what she was doing, she let out a silent sigh and looked away. No, she shouldn't even be friends with him, since he was a gang member. In a way, this was almost a hostage situation....well not really, she was just being dramatic now. "I know, I've always kinda been indecisive." She said laughing slightly and scratched the back of her head, obviously somewhat embarrassed. It was true, she never really knew what she wanted to do sometimes. Well when she was off work. On the job, she knew what to do all the time.
She smiled at his apology before she answered the questions and nodded to his question. "It's just up ahead, don't worry." She then started to think of what they could make, since she doubt that he knew where everything in her kitchen was. Or at least she hoped. If he did, she probably would make him give her cellphone back and distance herself from him. Finding out her job was ok, but being in her home was just creepy.
"It's the building coming up." She said smiling and was about to answer his next question, until he repeated her cat's name. "Yes, his name is Mathis, why?" She said, seeing him raising an eyebrow before asking what kind of cat name was that. "What's wrong with it? I like it. Besides, I adopted him and that was the name they gave him!" She said defensively. Usually when owners adopted, they changed the name of the pet, but she actually liked the cat's name, so it just stuck.
Once he grinned, she knew she wasn't getting her phone back and sure enough once he spoke, he said that he would see Mathis. Yep, she wasn't getting it back. Once he parked, she waited for him to turn the car off before he told her to lead the way. "Alright then." She said grinning before getting out of the car, making sure to grab her purse. She waited for him to get out of the car before she walked inside and started up the stairs to the second floor. Once on the second floor, she again waited for Kaden as she fished the keys from her purse, before moving towards the apartment 210. Quickly, she unlocked the door and walked inside, only to hear a distant meow, but she merely ignored it as she started turning on lights in the small apartment.
Katelyn's apartment was somewhat like Kaden's home. It had a kitchen that opened into the living room, a bedroom, a bathroom, a hallway closet, and a small room with a simple washer and dryer in it. On the nearby kitchen counter was a grey tabby that immediately started meowing and jumped down only to rush over and rubbed against Katelyn's legs, purring. Well that is until the cat's brown eyes spotted the unfamiliar man behind the woman he was so used to. Almost instantly, the purring stopped as he stared at the man, almost in a glare. That is until Katelyn gently picked him up.
Katelyn, after walking in and turning on all the lights, smiled at the warm welcome home done by Mathis. "Hey kitty." She said before picking the grey tabby up, smiling when he purred again and turned to Kaden. "This is Mathis!" She said smiling, unaware of how much the cat was still glaring at Kaden as she petted Mathis' soft fur. tagged: Kaden Word Count: 828 outfit: coming soon! lyrics: Savin Me - Nickelback notes: Mathis! <3

Xx-- It was as if he couldn’t stop grinning at her, and this time around it wasn’t because he was being cocky, he was thinking about how he could get laid or even at the fact he was just playing along. He was truly enjoying himself. “Now, now It’s not my fault something dropped on my head” He said chuckling himself. After all he hadn’t made it sound like he was stupid or something, just that what he was ripping apart didn’t like him or her for that matter.
Only with no blush he fought back the frown that pushed into his lips and won and only smiled. “Oh you have no idea.” He said in a creepy way without looking at her and left it like that for a moment. He was quiet, he said nothing he wanted her to have some type of a reaction and after about a minute he smiled. “Nah I’m not some creepy stalker like you think. Although I wouldn’t mind it either way.” He said with a shrug the grin on his face beaming like the sun.
After that she got quiet, a sigh left her lips and he narrowed his eyes a little and looked at her from the corner of his eye as she looked out the window. Her comment was normal for what their conversation had been but he was almost wondering what was eating at her. He held his tongue for some reason and just turned his mind to the road for a little. It was then that they got there and he parked the car nodding his head when he was letting her know he understood.
Finally when he turned off the car he sighed and smiled over at her, only to remember why he was doing this. This wasn’t him just driving some girl home he was trying to befriend her. After all they did like risk their lives for each other so what the hell? “Down girl down!” He chuckled when she got on his case about the name. “I didn’t mean to upset you love for odd names. It’s just weird in my mind. I never really had a pet. Unless you count those fish that never seem to last more than a week.” He said muttering the last part to himself as he recalled the number of gold fish he had. For some reason whenever his mother cleaned the tank they never lived to see the next day.
After this the two of them got out of the car and made their way to her place. Kaden walked slightly behind her his hands pushed deep into her pockets and smiled as she opened the door. Right away he met that cat and right away he didn’t like it. But he forced a smile anyways. “What a cutie.” He said trying to ignore the angry glare it was shooting him. Sometimes it was like people just knew that some type of animal didn’t like him and well the case was this cat for whatever reason didn’t like him from first meetings. Not even in the door and it hated him.
Only he made his way into the apartment anyways and took his shoes off. He was never one for wearing shoes in the house from the starting of his life. He mother and father always made a fuss about how shoes were for outside and not in. As he stood back up he glanced over at the cat he may as well get this over. Slowly he moved closer to it, and it’s fury started to stand up a little. Glancing up at Katelyn, oh well he could call her Danielle now, he spoke. “He won’t bit me will he?”

Danielle merely rolled her eyes at how he played along about how it wasn't his fault that something fell on his head. "Of course, even though we both know that was a complete lie that threw me off completely." She said grinning. However, once he said that she had no idea about how he wished, another blush rushed across her face. Damn him! She wasn't used to someone hitting on her! She was just used to the gang members that say something stupid or perverted. Even though Kaden was a gang member, he wasn't stupid or unintelligent like his fellow gang members. He was a ex detective and because of that, they had managed to become good friends.
After blushing, she huffed slightly and crossed her arms as she sad in the car. "No fair." She whined slightly. She was usually the one winning thins like this and she couldn't help but to feel like a poor sport when she was actually beat. After saying she had always been indecisive, she turned to look out the window, not technically looking out. Should she try to get along with a gang member? It was against everything Lawley taught the Pax members and if he found out, he would either do two things. Kick her out of Pax, or kill Kaden. Hell he might even do both and kill her as well.
When he questioned her pets name, she narrowed her eyes, only to laugh at him telling her down. "It's not a weird name! I like different names other than Rex, Fluffy, or Fido or whatever stupid names out there." She muttered as they started to her apartment. Once she stepped into the apartment, she smiled at Mathis giving her a warm welcome and gently picked the cat up, only to chuckle at the cat immediately start purring. She just had to put her hand on the cat at times and he would purr. It was like he enjoyed her just being nearby, which she loved. It gave her the thought of even if the city hates her, at least there was one thing that loved her.
Once Kaden walked into the apartment, Mathis let out a low growl, almost to let him know he wasn't welcome. "Mathis be nice!" She said, gently hitting the cat's forehead, only to see Mathis' eyes look up at her like 'what was that for?' "You know what you did." She merely said, before looking back to Kaden."I don't know honestly. It seems to me he's only ok with me, he's iffy about Cordie at times." She said, noticing the cat's fur starting to start up."Maybe we should just assume the worst..." She said, placing the cat down, only to watch him dart off to a random room.

Xx-- Yet another win for him. She blushed so easily! It was highly amusing to him, maybe it was partly because he didn’t really show interest in girls like her anymore. Maybe that was what was driving him so much to deal with her. If she had been anyone else that had been undercover he would have not bothered with them anymore. He may have even killed them after they got out of the stupid mess they were in. It was after all what he needed to do know that he was in a gang, but what made her different.
“It’s totally fair.” He said softly a small chuckle leaving his lips as he pulled into the parking lot. As he parked the car and the two got out he couldn’t help but watch this woman with two different names. What made him go through so much trouble to give her back her phone. Why did he spend weeks watching her, why had he been so in need to see her. It was slightly frustrating now that he noticed this little problem within himself. What made her different.
By now she had finished her little rant about the cat’s name and he missed all of it. Far too deep into thought and they were at the door. He couldn’t even tell you what floor they were on. He just glance at the number to maybe remember something if he ever came here again. Would he come here again? Where they on a date? He was totally confused, but by meeting the evil glare of her lovely ‘Mathis’ he let all his thoughts float away. He glared back at the cat as Katelyn got him in trouble. The childish side of Kaden almost wanted to make him stick out his tongue at the cat as if it’d understand that he won.
“Well at least I know it’s not just me then. Anyways, I think we should rade your Kitchen now.” He said before slipping off his shoes and making his way into her place. It was small, well normal just like his. Kaden was used to living in a house, so apartments always seemed small to him. “Man maybe I should have been FBI” He said almost like a mutter to himself before spotting the kitchen. “Ha! There it is.” He said not waiting for Katelyn to follow him as he started opening things.
He learned very quickly that she kept clean. At least this time he would not see anything she didn’t want him too. Smirking at his own thoughts he finished moving through the kitchen to turn back to Katelyn with a small grin. “How about pancakes!” It was a childish type of food to eat at this time, but it was also something his wife loved to do. It had been ages since he had pancakes, and seeing the mix in the cupboard gave him the idea.

When he laughed at her blushing again, she pouted slightly and crossed her arms, obviously being a sore loser. She wasn't used to guy teasing her. Then again, she wasn't used to friends that wasn't in the FBI. Usually when guys even came near her when she was away from Pax, she would either leave suddenly or build up a wall to keep people out. Kaden here was one of the lucky ones that managed to be saved from her wall or her just randomly leaving. It made her think of how they met. How she did something she usually didn't. Actually have a normal conversation. And how it turned into him stalking her and forcing her on a date, she thought sarcastically.
Again, she huffed when he told her it was fair and shot a playful glare at him. "Your just a jerk face then." She muttered, not really thinking of calling someone a 'jerk face' much of a threat or a insult. It was more childish than anything, but honestly, she didn't care. When her old friend Niles was mean, she would constantly call him that, but he would merely smile at it. Apparently like Kaden here, Niles found her amusing when she was mad. Why didn't anyone in this town take her seriously?
Once they walked up to her room and she had released Mathis, she looked to see he was in her room, so as a safety measure for Kaden not getting attacked by the cat later on, she closed the door, hearing the pitiful meow behind the door. "No, your in trouble for now." She said through the door as she placed her hands on her hips before walking back to where Kaden was. When he spoke of raiding her kitchen, she silently thanked herself for going to the grocery store the other night, so there would be plenty to pick from. "Alright what did you-" Suddenly before she could tell him where it was, she blinked at Kaden already going through her cabinets.
"Kind of impatient are we?" She said grinning as she walked over and started looking in her fridge, only to also be glad she cleaned everything a few days ago. So far, she was pretty lucky. As long as he didn't go into her room, everything would be ok. Then again, she had her fluffy bodyguard in there too. Point for her. Her green eyes looked over at Kaden when he suddenly said pancakes, only to see the mix in her cabinet. But how he had said it made her smile and finally nod. "Sure why not?" She said before closing the fridge and pulled out a skillet and a few other things to make the pancakes. "How about you make the mix and I'll make the pancakes?" She said smiling at him before preparing the skillet to make the pancakes. tagged: Kaden Word Count: 562 outfit: coming soon! lyrics: Savin Me - Nickelback notes:<3

Xx-- “Jerk face? You know jerk would have worked a lot better.” Kaden laughed as he went looking. Kaden move pretty quickly through the kitchen. It didn’t take him long to see all the things she had and didn’t. He had almost thought of just ordering pizza when he spotted the pancake mix at the back of the last spot he was looking. Smiling he pulled it out just as she walked into the room. He spoke cutting her off as he held out the mix. When she spoke he smiled like a small boy getting in trouble.
Rubbing the back of his neck smiling brightly he nodded. “Well yeah and well if you didn’t have anything that isn’t lazy proof I would have gotten pizza and lied about my amazing pizza making skills.” He smirked before holding out the mix for Katelyn to take and waiting for her answer. If she didn’t want it well then he would order pizza or something like that unless she had an idea. Then again in the car she really couldn’t make her mind up about anything.
Katelyn was so for it. She didn’t find it weir d or anything. Man he really did find a good one. Well not that he was just trying to get in her pants. . . man now he’s just over thing all of this. Shaking his head more to himself before starting to look around for anything else they may need to make the pancakes. “Well I could totally make a joke out of that, but sure.” He said straighten up with the last few things from the fridge. “Ever hear of the Charlie's Angel movies?” I ask wondering if you would know the one line in the first movie that makes a dirty joke about shake and bake chicken.
It was then that Kaden heard the cat down the hallway making a loud roar for help to get out of the bedroom. Unable to help but chuckle he walked out of the kitchen to peek down the hallway to make sure the stupid thing was locked up. “Sucker!” He yelled down the hallway only to make the cat growl at him. Chuckling again he walked back into the kitchen and asked. “So how is it coming my new found mixer?” He chucked again. Man he was so going to get hit for that one if she understood the joke.
