| Xakery | 488 | outfit | complete | sorry, it took so long | Whistling was heard before the figure was seen around the corner. Tamera was in a good mood, and that much was seen by the fact she was whistling to herself. Another album was under her belt, which made her day rather easily. Though what really had her happy was the fact that she finally felt like her own person. Not only would she not have to fake it anymore, but soon enough her boss Benjamin would learn that she would be either quitting or he would keep her own regardless of her being an previous undercover FBI agent. Hopefully he wouldn’t be difficult about it, but that was all beside the point. The point was that she wouldn’t have to pretend anymore. There wouldn’t be anymore of her working out of her way to appear normal just so people wouldn’t ask questions. With a sigh, she walked into the one place in town so far that she felt completely herself.
The bouncer outside knew her face well enough, so he didn’t ask questions by letting her in. With a wave, she walked into the club. It wasn’t that she was in any one group for certain anymore, it was just that she made money and knew people. Not even just her friends and money got her everywhere, some of it had to do with the fact she had a pretty face. Tamera knew her face and body got her into some places, but she was more worried about making sure people knew she earned her place regardless of how she received it. For example, in music she worked her ass off to put her music in the system and make sure it was all good listens. Benjamin so far had gained much faith in her, and she was almost sure that if the boss of the recording agency had faith in you then you had to be good. Maybe she was eluding herself, but so far she felt like she was doing pretty damn good for a girl who’d only had experience in private work and college.
With a happy go luck grin, she sauntered up to the bar and took a seat near a certain bartender that she just so happened to know. Leaning on the counter, she remained silent for a few moments as she waited to see if he would notice her. When he didn’t turn or make any signs of noticing her sitting behind him she banged her fist on the counter, earning a few odd looks. “Excuse me! Can I get some service here?” she said obnoxiously, but the giggled that left her lips quickly following was enough to show she was completely kidding. Others gave her odd looks and began to look to the bartender in worry. Would he flip out? The look on her face showed that she felt no fear from the man on the other side of the bar.

i believe in nothing, not the day and not the nightI BELIEVE IN NOTHING BUT THE BEATING OF OUR HEARTS - - - - - - - - - - Xakery was bored. He enjoyed his job but only when he had sleep. Today was not one of the days where he enjoyed his job and it was not one of those days where he had enough sleep. The lights from the dance floor, the pounding bass and the talking was starting to get to him. He could feel the beginning of a migraine starting to settle in and he was at least hoping to get home before it hit full on. Or well, at least he could find some medication but around here, there was only alcohol and more alcohol. Oh and some peanuts but that wasn’t any help either. Still, he had a job to do and Xakery needed the money so he was sticking around until his shift ended. Hopefully, it would be soon. Really soon.
His eyes were glued to the clock behind the bar and Xak could only watch the seconds tick by slowly. He was hungry too. This sucked. Occasionally, he would move around to help a few paying customers, trying to keep a smile on his face. Even mixing drinks got boring after a while. It was a shame he never got a break here in Pulse. There were always the same customers. Sure, they might not have been the same people but eventually they all started looking the same. There was the creepy guy who was looking for someone drunk enough to take home. Then there was always the group of giggling girls just there to dance. For once, he wanted something to change. Ugh, the job was getting boring and that was never a good thing.
Things slowed down for a bit and Xak returned to staring at the clock. It wasn’t a joke when they said time moved slower when you stare at the clock. He slicked his pink mohawk up and sighed. There was a loud bang on the counter and Xak let out a surprised yelp, nearly falling over. “Wha’s going on!?” His gaze darted around as he looked for the source. When he finally spotted Tamera sitting at the bar with that foolish grin, Xak let out a nervous laugh. “Scare the hell out of me why don’t you. And not with that attitude you’re not getting service,” Xak smiled and walked over to her. “I am so glad to see you. Get me out of here.” - - - - - - - - - - TAGGING: tamera! | Xakery | 424 | outfit | complete | let me know if this works, pm me if we should just start this thread over | Bored wasn’t even what began to cover how Tamera felt as she walked, or rather sauntered, into the bar. Taking her seat, she at first didn’t notice her pink haired friend. Her mind being still back with her letter of resignation and how her mother was going to react. A ghost of a smile spread across her lips as she debated going to hand deliver the letter herself, but shrugged that off as she felt it would be sweeter if her mother received it through the mail. Oh how laughable would be her angry call when she found out her own daughter quit. The FBI was like AA, everyone knew when you left and hated you because you did. With a bored sigh, she looked up to see who was working so that she could ask for a drink, depending on who was working ended with what she’d actually have to say.
With a playful grin, Tamera banged her hands down on the counter and almost burst out laughing when Xak jumped in the air as if she’d shot at him. Speaking loudly and obnoxiously, Tamera actually did laugh when he turned to her fully and let out that nervous laugh. It was like he really thought she was going to shoot him. With a grin on her face, she snickered when he said with her attitude being like that she wouldn’t get any service. “Aww, don’t be like that! You know you wanna serve me!” she said with a happy go lucky grin on her face. His smile was enough to make her smile more real and lean towards the bar to listen to what he had to say.
She tipped her head back and laughed again when he walked over and said to get him out of there. Was he having such a bad day that he wanted her to kidnap him? Giggling she leaned closer to him, and smirked at him joyfully. “You want me to kidnap you from this awful, awful place Xakky?” she asked playfully childish like, but was being quite honest at the very same time. If he asked her to, she would kidnap him out the back and lock him in her apartment until he wished to be released. Though by then she may not wish to. A funny thought indeed, but who was going to stop an FBI agent, still technically on the force, from taking a man with her? Blinking at him expectantly, Tamera remained grinning as she waited to see what he’d say.
